Dear princess,

I wanted us to stay together forever, 

But you never tried to tighten the knot.

I cared for you,

But you called me overpossesive.

I wanted us to spend time together,

But you felt like a bird in a cage.

I over expressed my love for you,

But you called me obsessed. 

I wanted to sort things between us,

But the situation just got worsened. 

The problem was neither in you nor in me, 

Probably the fault was in our stars.

But my love for you was brighter than those billions of stars.

Probably you wanted something better for both of us,

But I had the best in store for both of us.

Maybe this wasn’t in our “FATE”,

But we forgot that its we who decide our fate.

The memories of the time spent with you don’t let me sleep in night 

Still got your things here and they stare at me like souvenirs

I thought you to be like my constant,

But you left me like the lifeless autumn leaves.

I don't know where things went wrong, 

Was it me or my efforts that were in vain?

I never wanted to cross this dark road all alone.

The ache in this heart is aching badly, this soul too is in pain

These poetries bleed your initials, my ink still has your leftovers that did remain.

Nothing much is left to say. But just one thing

Can we give ourselves another chance??

Can an we once again beautify each others lives??

Can I have you by my side once again??
